Lakeside house in Western Sweden – Stay at Valle House

Looking for accommodation in western Sweden with amenities suitable for the whole family? Then Valle house is an excellent choice. Here you stay in fresh, bright rooms – all with private shower and toilet – in the heart of Västergötland, right between the large lakes Vänern and Vättern.

Our house near Skara offers 4 bathrooms and up to 18 beds distributed across 5 bedrooms. We call the house Valle hus, and it is situated in scenic natural surroundings, close to both adventure and relaxation. Perfect for multiple families who want to stay together – peaceful yet near many historical attractions and beautiful walking and cycling paths.

Rent individual rooms or the whole house

There is the option to rent a room in the house as a hostel, or to rent the entire house and have all rooms and common areas to yourself. It’s a great option for several families who want to share accommodations but still have a private room with shower and toilet. During certain parts of the season, we rent out the individual rooms separately and guests then share the living room and kitchen but have their own bathroom in the room, like a hostel.

The rooms in Valle house

In Valle Hus, you stay in bright and practical rooms with plenty of space for the whole family. All rooms that are rented individually have private bathrooms, making your stay both comfortable and flexible. When the entire house is rented, there is access to an additional bedroom with two single beds. This room shares a bathroom with one of the other rooms, as the entire house is rented as one unit.

Four-bed rooms (2 units)

Our four-bed rooms are about 18 square meters and accommodate up to four people. Each room includes:

• One double bed
• One bunk bed (80 cm wide)
• Private bathroom with shower and toilet

This is an excellent option if you’re looking for affordable accommodation near Skara Sommarland with private WC and shower – especially popular with families.

Family rooms (2 units)

Our family rooms are also approximately 18 square meters and are suitable for two adults and up to two younger children (under 13 years). The rooms include either:

• A double bed and a bunk bed (not full length), or
• A double bed and a sofa bed

All family rooms have private bathrooms, making them perfect if you’re looking for rooms in Skara with private facilities near the water park.

Double room (1 unit)

The double room is only available when renting the entire house or by prior arrangement. This is because the room does not have its own bathroom and must share one with another room. It has two single beds.

Living room

The living room connects the various rooms. If you rent the whole house, it is exclusively for your group; otherwise, it is shared with other guests. The living room includes several tables and chairs as well as a sofa. There is also a well-equipped kitchen, and next to it, a kitchenette with dishwasher and an additional fridge/freezer.

• Pillows and duvets are included in all rooms
• Bed linen and cleaning are not included but can be rented if available. Cleaning service can be added if available.
