BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS VALLE CAMPING AB
The following agreement applies to the letting of cottages and rooms in hostels as well as pitches for tents, caravans, mobile homes and camper vans (the “Accommodation”) to private individuals. For group bookings (larger groups and all bookings made by companies, associations and the like) special conditions apply(link to conditions for group bookings). Our booking conditions are based on the conditions for renting campsites, cabins and apartments drawn up by professional organisations (camping and tourism) and the Consumer Agency.
The booking terms and conditions are provided in Swedish and translated into several languages to facilitate understanding. However, the Swedish version is the legally binding text. In the event of any discrepancies or errors in the translations, the original Swedish version shall prevail.
BOOKING AND PAYMENT
Payment for accommodation is made in advance and your booking is binding on both parties only once the reservation has been paid for.
Payment must be received by Valle Camping AB no later than the date stated on the confirmation. If payment is not received within this period, Valle Camping AB has the right to cancel the accommodation. Failure to pay on time is considered a cancellation and the cancellation rules apply. Check that the content of the booking confirmation corresponds to what you booked. If you find any errors in the confirmation, you must inform us as soon as possible and at the latest within 24 hours of booking.
When making a reservation, you are required to provide at least your name, address, telephone number, e-mail, date of arrival and departure and payment details. All personal data is processed in accordance with our privacy policy (Privacy Policy, see further down in the terms).
SERVICE FEE INCLUDED
In all bookings, there is a service fee of 79 SEK. This service fee covers the booking service and is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
We offer the following payment options to private individuals with the following conditions:
1. Card (VISA/Mastercard, etc.) Conditions: Possible both when booking online and for direct payment upon arrival without prior reservation.
2. SWISH Conditions: Only in SEK and only available upon direct arrival at the accommodation. This means the booking is made upon arrival (not pre-booked) or by agreement, for example, in the case of group bookings.
3. Cash Conditions: Only in SEK and only available upon direct arrival at the accommodation. This means the booking is made upon arrival (not pre-booked).
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must always be made by telephone 0511-621 09 or e-mail info@vallecamping.se. The cancellation is only valid after you have received a written confirmation of your cancellation from us by e-mail.
CANCELLATION WITHOUT CANCELLATION PROTECTION
If you cancel more than 28 days before your arrival, the amount will be refunded, excluding the service fee mentioned above. In case of cancellation with less than 28 days to arrival, no part of the booking amount will be refunded. We have the right to charge you for any agreed amount that has not been paid.
CANCELLATION WITH CANCELLATION PROTECTION
When booking accommodation with us, you have the option to purchase cancellation protection. The fee for cancellation protection is 265 SEK per booked accommodation unit (cabin, room, camping site, etc.). Please note that the fee for cancellation protection or service fee is non-refundable.
If you have chosen to take out our cancellation protection with your booking, the following applies:
The cancellation protection entitles you to cancel or reschedule your booking without the need for a valid reason (e.g., due to sudden illness or death) up to 14 days before your arrival. A rebooking/change to a date within the same year as the original booking is allowed per booking and only subject to availability. In case of cancellation up to 14 days before arrival, the amount of your booking will be refunded, with a deduction for the cost of cancellation protection and service fee (265 SEK + 79 SEK)
If you cancel your booking by 6:00 PM the day before your arrival, the booking amount will be refunded, minus the cost of cancellation protection and the service fee, only if you or a close relative is affected by sudden illness or death. Please note that you must be able to provide a medical certificate to be eligible for a refund. You will be reimbursed, upon presentation of a medical certificate, for the entire amount of your booking, with a deduction for the cost of cancellation protection and service fee (265 SEK + 79 SEK).
If you cancel later than 6:00 PM the day before your arrival, no part of the amount will be refunded.
We have the right to charge you for any agreed amount that has not been paid.
Any refund will be processed after confirmed cancellation and typically takes 4-7 banking days to complete.
CHANGE OF BOOKING
One free change per booking is possible up to 28 days before arrival, subject to availability. Inquiries regarding changes to bookings should be made by telephone 0511-621 09 or e-mail info@vallecamping.se.
EARLIER DEPARTURE THAN PLANNED
If you choose to depart earlier than planned, no money will be refunded unless otherwise agreed with us.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
The accommodation is available from. 16.00 on the day of arrival and is available until kl. On the day of departure, check-out time is 11:00 AM (for camping, tent, and pitch sites, check-out is from 15:00 to 12:00 PM on the day of departure). If you check out later than this, a full daily fee will be charged according to the current price list at that time.
CLEANING
In case you are not satisfied with the cleanliness of your accommodation, you must inform us upon arrival so that we can address it. Please come to the reception or call us at +46511621 09 in the first instance. Alternatively, notify us directly when you discover any deficiencies via email, messenger, or any other messaging platform. What we don’t know, we can’t do anything about, and you won’t have the opportunity to request compensation for deficiencies in the cleaning afterwards.
The client is responsible for adequate departure cleaning according to the instructions given. In case of insufficient cleaning, a fee of SEK 800 will be charged.
By purchasing the departure cleaning service at the time of booking you only need to take care of any dishes and dispose of the garbage in the designated area! Please note that the departure cleaning service must be purchased at the time of booking and cannot be added afterwards.
PETS
In our accommodations, pets are only allowed in the camping cabins and must be pre-registered for an additional fee. Pets are not allowed in the hostel. If pets are not pre-registered, or if they are brought into the hostel, the booking will be subject to a full cleaning fee (minimum 800 SEK).
AGE LIMIT FOR BOOKING AND ACCESS
You must be 18 years old to book/stay with us. Everyone in the party must be 18 years of age or older to stay in the accommodation – however, this does NOT apply to children in the company of the responsible host/parent. Authorisation may be required on arrival. Compliance with the age limit is a requirement for access to the accommodation. If the guest does not meet the age limit when entering the accommodation, cancellation rules apply. For organized groups and travel companies with leaders, exceptions to the above rules can be made by agreement with Valle Camping AB.
REGULATIONS – OBLIGATIONS OF THE GUEST
During your stay at the campsite, our regulations apply (available here and in writing on request). The regulations cover, among other things, noise levels, connection of electric vehicles, traffic, waste management, guests, and fire safety regulations. All guests in the party or any visitors to the guests must comply with the rules. The person who has booked the stay is responsible for ensuring that everyone in the group is aware of the rules and regulations.
Violation of the facility’s regulations or other breaches of the agreement may result in additional fees and immediate termination of the agreement.
Regarding additional charges:
- Connection of a plug-in vehicle to a “regular” power outlet (Schuko outlet) anywhere on the premises: 800 SEK (see also rules and regulations for order and comfort)
Valle Camping AB reserves the right to close the accommodation and remove the guest’s belongings in the event of immediate termination of the agreement. In the event of eviction, the amount due is calculated on the basis of the current daily rate applied during the time you have had access to the accommodation/place, plus a deduction for estimated damage. Any difference will be refunded within 10 days of eviction.
If you are disturbed by other guests or any other activity in the area or nearby, you must contact us directly so that we can address this. Come to the reception or call us at +46511 621 09 in the first instance. Alternatively, notify us directly when you discover any deficiencies via email, messenger, or any other messaging platform. Valle Camping is not responsible for disturbances caused by other guests, but we naturally try to do what we can to minimize disruptions, including referring to regulations and guidelines. What we don’t know, we can’t do anything about, and remember that you won’t be able to request compensation for any disturbance or similar afterward.
CRISES, NATURAL DISASTERS, STRIKES, ETC:
In the event that the stay cannot be carried out due to an obstacle beyond our control and which we could not reasonably have anticipated at the time the contract was concluded and whose consequences we could not reasonably have avoided or overcome, we shall be free from liability for damages or other sanctions. Both parties have the right to withdraw from the rental agreement if the accommodation cannot be provided due to acts of war, natural disasters, labour disputes, prolonged interruptions in water or energy supply, fire or other similar major events, which neither you nor we could have foreseen or influenced. In the event of a refund, we are obligated to promptly reimburse the amount you have paid, minus any benefit you have derived from the accommodation or services you have used, such as service fees related to booking. However, we will not reimburse you for any costs you have incurred or which arise as a result of the premature termination of your stay.
WITHDRAWAL
The right of withdrawal under the Act (2005:59) on Distance Contracts and Contracts away from Business Premises is exempted for contracts on accommodation, lodging or leisure activities and therefore you cannot withdraw from a contract on the rental of accommodation (room, cabin or pitch for a tent, caravan or motorhome).
IF WE DO NOT AGREE
If you have a complaint, please contact us directly (0511-621 09). If we know nothing, we can do nothing! Be aware that delaying your complaint may reduce your chances of getting redress. If you fail to report a fault, you cannot claim compensation. If we do not come to an agreement, you can always turn to ARN – Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden.
PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
At Valle Camping AB, we process personal data about those who use our services and products. Valle Camping AB is the data controller with regard to personal data related to your booking. Such handling of personal data is in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
