Valle Camping is a perfect place for groups who want to get together for community, activities and nature-based accommodation. There is space for everything from smaller associations to larger groups who wish to book all or parts of the facility – with the option to combine the hostel, cabins and camping. Whether you are planning a training camp, a family reunion, a celebration or another gathering, we help you put together a package that suits your needs.

Valle hus / The hostel

The rooms in the hostel have between 2 and 4 beds (a total of 18 beds, some of which are children’s beds), and all rooms have their own toilet and shower. One of the two-bed rooms is only rented to groups; in that case, the toilet is shared with another room or the toilets in the service building are used.

Pillows and duvets are provided in all rooms, but bed linen is not included (can be rented).

In the middle of the building there is a spacious self-catering kitchen, equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, fridge, freezer and complete kitchenware.

Camping cabins and camping

With our camping cabins (around 80 beds) and plenty of space for caravans, motorhomes and tents, it is possible to accommodate really large groups. We also have ample space for larger party tents and similar arrangements.

SPORTS – TOURNAMENTS AND OTHER EVENTS

Over the years, we have welcomed many guests to Valle Camping in connection with sports tournaments held in the surrounding area. Both entire teams looking for affordable and pleasant accommodation during tournament weekends, as well as accompanying parents, siblings and relatives who want to stay comfortably close to the matches, come here. Our nature-oriented setting, flexible accommodation options and convenient location make us a popular choice for both players and supporters.

FOOTBALL

Skadevi Cup in Skövde

Skadevi Cup is one of Sweden’s largest youth football tournaments and is held during the summer in Skövde (16 km from the campsite). The tournament gathers around 300 teams from across the country and offers matches on well-maintained grass and artificial turf pitches in and around the city.

The cup is known for its good organization, well-kept pitches, qualified referees and appreciated service. Many clubs return year after year and value the friendly atmosphere and smooth arrangements.

For teams and families participating in Skadevi Cup, there are several accommodation options near Skövde. At Valle Camping, about 15 minutes from Skövde, you stay close to nature by a swimming lake with plenty of space for the whole team in cabins, the hostel or on the campsite. A great choice for those who want to combine the tournament with a calm environment, swimming and togetherness.

Skara Sommarland Cup

Skara Sommarland Cup is a popular youth football tournament held during the summer in Skara (11 km from Valle Camping). The cup is often played at the end of July and combines two full days of football with one day filled with experiences at Scandinavia’s largest water and amusement park – Skara Sommarland.

The aim is to create a memorable tournament weekend for both players and coaches – where football joy, team spirit and the best adventures of summer all come together.

Most players are accommodated within walking distance of the pitches, but if you are looking for calm, nature-based accommodation in connection with Skara Sommarland Cup, Valle Camping is just a short drive from the tournament area – a good option for friends or relatives who want to come along and cheer, and combine the cup with swimming, sauna and beautiful nature.

Axvall Cup

Axvall Cup is an annual football tournament held in Axvall, just a few kilometers from Valle Camping. It is a well-organized cup with a focus on younger players and primarily attracts teams from the local Skaraborg area.

The tournament is organized by Axvalls IF, our nearest sports club, and is played at Axevalla IP – a nature-oriented sports area with several fine pitches, only a few minutes away by car or bicycle from the campsite.

For visiting supporters as well as teams participating in Axvall Cup, Valle Camping is a perfect overnight option. There is plenty of space for the whole team in cabins, the hostel or on the campsite, as well as opportunities for shared meals and relaxation between matches.

Ulvacupen

Ulvacupen is a well-known youth football tournament held every summer in Ulvåker (30 km from Valle Camping), just north of Skövde (16 km from Valle Camping). The tournament is aimed at girls and boys and annually attracts hundreds of young players from both nearby clubs and other parts of the country. The cup is organized by Ulvåkers IF and is known for its excellent arrangements, good pitches and friendly atmosphere.

For teams participating in Ulvacupen and looking for accommodation near Skövde, Valle Camping is a nature-based option with cabins, hostel rooms and campsites. Here, the whole team or visiting supporters stay comfortably with close access to swimming, sauna and shared areas – perfect for togetherness and recovery between matches.

ORIENTEERING

Orienteering World Cup 2026 – international elite sport in Skara

From 28–31 May 2026, Skara (11 km) and Lidköping (31 km) will be at the center of the world elite in sprint orienteering. A World Cup round will be decided, where some of the world’s best orienteers compete for important World Cup points in fast-paced races set in urban environments.

The program includes several disciplines – individual sprint, knockout sprint and sprint relay – offering high intensity for both participants and spectators. Arenas and courses will be centrally located in Skara and Lidköping, making the competitions easily accessible and spectator-friendly. The event is expected to attract both international visitors and orienteering enthusiasts from all over Sweden.

I samband med världscuptävlingarna arrangeras även publiktävlingar där motionärer och klubblöpare kan delta i sprintlopp i samma område. Bland annat genomförs Kinnekullesprinten och Sommarlandssprinten, som ger besökare möjlighet att själva uppleva orientering i toppklassens fotspår.

In connection with the World Cup competitions, public races will also be organized where recreational runners and club athletes can participate in sprint races in the same areas. Among others, Kinnekullesprinten and Sommarlandssprinten will be held, giving visitors the opportunity to experience orienteering in the footsteps of the elite.
