An accommodation close to nature with a wood-fired sauna on the jetty and the possibility of fishing and lovely baths.
For those interested in nature and culture, there are plenty of excursions and activities in the surrounding area. Varnhem Abbey Church, Kata Gård, Skara Cathedral and Lake Hornborga are just a few minutes’ drive away.
Nature reserves and beautiful hiking trails can be reached on foot.

About Valle Camping
At one of the lakes in Valle, “Husgärdessjön” you will find a place called Per-Larsgården, originally a farm, but which today, due to its convenient location and proximity to beautiful nature, historical places and various activities, has developed into a holiday resort with camping, cabins and a hostel near Skara Sommarland and Axevalla racecourse.
Valle Camping is a family business that was founded in 1986 in connection with the construction of Sommarland in Axvall outside Skara.
When Skara Sommarland (Scandinavia’s largest water park) opened its doors, tourism in the area increased dramatically and with it the need for holiday accommodation. Major events in the area, such as the StoChampionatet at Axevalla racecourse, have also contributed to the many people who have come to Valle Camping over the years.
In 2020, the next generation took over the running of the family business.

Getting here
Valle Camping is located at Husgärdessjön in the beautiful region called Vallebygden in Västra götaland County, Sout West Sweden in what used to be Skaraborg County – the area between the great lakes Vänern and Vättern.
You will find us at the address Skärv Per-Larsgården 2 along the highway 49 quite exactly in between the cities Skara and Skövde near lake Hornborga and right next to the communities Varnhem and Axvall.
